New York, NY -- After 16 months of being visibly absent from an Alex Faust webpage, his weekly "State of NASCAR" columns will return that summarize the weekend of Truck, Busch and Cup racing along with opinion on race issues. The last column released was on February 16, 2004 after the Daytona 500. "I am exited to bring these columns back to the public after such a long hiatus," Faust said on Tuesday, "Looking back at them, there are so many things that were left unsaid by people calling the race and even major column writers for NASCAR-related websites. I used to incorporate my overall opinion of the race, surprises and a preview of the next week and I can't figure out why I discontinued it. In any event, I feel great in bringing them back, as it is a change of pace from regular online racing news." The column will start after this weekend's Nextel Cup, Busch and Craftsman Truck events. GRX Online will continue to provide news relating to AOSCA, NASCOR and ERCO even with the addition of this opinion column. If you are a registered member of the GRX message board, you can look at two columns from February, 2004 to preview what these columns have in store. afaust3.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=13t&action=display&thread=1118197490
