New York, NY -(by Alex Faust, Owner)- I unfortunately have to make an announcement that will change the foundation of the future for GRX Motorsports. Kevin Bartelt and Ken Rork, partners at GRX Motorsports for over 7 months, have left the our team indefinately. Their decisions were made on their own free will and their reasons were not released to me at any time.
It is unfortunate that the two of them had to depart, because those were the two drivers that I would eventually pass on the duties of running the team to. Whenever I step aside from sim racing in the future, it would be one of those two men who would take responsibility on keeping the team in running order. I now have no such heir.
The contribution that these two drivers have made to my team is immense and can not be measured. The graditude that I have for their actions can't be expressed either. I am just surprised and confused that not even within a year, they have decided to part ways with my team. Whenever, or if ever they decide to return, the opportunity will be left open. I wish them the best of luck in their future endevours.
As for GRX, it will certainly have a different look. I have not heard from our sponsors on if their leave will have any effect on our organization, but I know that their absense will be hard to replace. Kenny Baum Jr. is called upon once in a while to run special events, and other than him, there are no other drivers ready to take the track. Deidre Miller, my development driver, is not expected to see a track again until September, leaving me in a frantic driver search. If you are interested in driving for GRX Motorsports, please e-mail me at alex.faust@gmail.com.
